My List of Ideas So Far • Mutatations surface during puberty • Monsters are able to hide their physical anomalies until puberty, at which point it becomes increasingly more difficult to hide, and then not at all • I will make a list of mutations that are available and a list of types of monsters that can be chosen from. Some will be rare and some will be common • Telepathy is unavailable because everyone always overuses it and godmods and it becomes a big mess • Location of the RP will be at a government facility that is disguised as a boarding school and college combined on one of the Hawai'ian Islands • The school's funding is unknown, but its purpose is to teach mutants and monsters to conform to society, or else they are forced to stay on the island and never reconnect with human society • The school only caters to those of US, Canadian, or Mexican Citizenship, as there are other schools around the world similar to this one • The family and friends of the students are completely cut off from each other, and in some cases the memories of the family and friends are erased to protect confidentiality I'll add more later but that's it for now

|Available Mutations| Common: The ability to manipulate one of the four natural elements (Fire, Earth, Water, Air) The ability to manipulate flora The ability to communicate with fauna The ability to manipulate man-made materials (steel, lead, iron) The ability to manipulate one's appearance (to appear as another person (this may or may not apply to monsters) The ability to transform into another animal (the limit to how many animals they can transform into is ten) Super-human strength (must be reasonable) Super-human speed (must be reasonable) Rare: Telekinesis Teleportation The ability to not die and regenerate body parts (think Deadpool) The ability to "borrow" the ability of other mutants (think Rougue from X-Men) The ability to manipulate weather (within a certain radius) The ability to hypnotise others (for a set amount of time) Or a pm could be sent to me requesting a certain ability, and I will review it and decide whether or not it can be used

|Monsters| Humanoids that resemble an animal or some type of bug (werewolves) Humanoids with severly disproportionate bodies or limbs Humanoids with abnormal features (horns, wings, teeth, discoloured skin) ... All Monsters may posses some sort of ability but it has to directly relate to their physical attributes ie: if a monster has blue skin and is cold to the touch, he may also have the ability to freeze water, or as an attack be able to give frostbite to others.

Okay the mutations and the monster information should definitely be combined into one post when you create the official thread. And it looks like you're creating two different kinds of character forms. In which case, combine them both into one post for the official thread as well. It would be a good idea to use the 'code button' on them separately so that people will be able to tell them apart and not think it's just one big character form rather than two small ones.

Wow okay so I've been doing a lot of thinking on this thing and I've decided that I'm going to follow through with it, but I have to get it started before I go back to school in August. I'm to start with the history of the school, which was created by the United States government in 1963, during the height of the Cold War, because Russia actually built their school first. It falls in line with the arms race that took place during that time, except this event was entirely secretive. The school's creation also prevented what could have been a major civil rights emergency that could have happened had the public been alerted to the existence of both mutants and monsters. The school was erected on Kaho'olawe, the smallest Hawaiian island, and the only one entirely uninhabited. The school was named the Federal Academy of the United States on Kaho'olawe, nicknamed Fausk by its attendants and shortly after by everyone else. Students are taken to the school either of their own free will upon discovery of their differentness, or taken there by the Federal Bureau of Genetic Anomalies, or the F.B.G for short. The F.B.G work a lot like the F.B.I, in secret and in service to the government, but they also answer to another sevcret orginzation, the International Organization of Genetic Anomalies. They are the committee that comes up with all of the guidelines and laws regarding both monsters and mutants, lumping them all into one category; genetic anomalies. They formed shortly after the creation of the third school for monsters and mutants was opened in Japan, and was led by embassadors of Japan and the United States. The present day version of Fausk has encompassed most of the island, and what land isn't covered by the schools was taken over by its graduates, creating the city of Ahupu, named after the 'ili it resides in. The cities inhabitants are people who either work at the school, work at the containment facility, or have graduated and never returned to society.

That sounds brilliant and well thought out. I think you should create some rules now. Like what's allowed in a post, how to post, when to post, etc. You can use ECHASL or the other role plays in the role play forum to see examples for that.
