Match-Making Services
Our Services
"L'amour est difficile à trouver. Lucky for you, I can do all the travail difficile for you."
Our services are lead by Desiré Erudit, someone who is unwilling to reveal himself at this time.
We specialize in finding the perfect or near-perfect match for trolls (and Eau Lourde) that
can't seem to find one on their own (minus Auspistices). By applying for our services, you are guaranteed
time and effort that we put into finding your match for you. But we can only go so far
on our own and we will need your cooperation once we find your match.
For blind dates with your match, we will send you to 'free' establishments in the cities (picked at random),
so that you do not have to be a cent to enjoy yourselves. However, if you send us some
form of payment, we can send you and your perfect match to a ritzier establishment
where everything is already paid for, including full meals, dessert, any tickets, etc.
During Terra von Lebkuchen, the option to marry your quadrants becomes available.
Our services extend beyond match-making and dives straight into the aftermath.
We can also help plan big wedding ceremonies
(that can become actual events for many of our server members to attend the month of December)
and we can even plan out your wedding reception!

Directions
1. Fill out the appropriate form for the quadrant you want filled.
2. Send it to Keiran in a private message.
3. Have patience. You will receive a message when a match has been found.
Log onto the trollmeau website after you submitted, as the message you will receive will be on the website and not minecraft.
4. Once the time is set, send your payment (if you have any).
If you pay in Delta, then we need to schedule a time to both get on the server at the same time.
Costs are split between participants if both participants paid for Regular or Extended.
If only one paid for Regular or Extended then that person pays in full.
5. Work with me on setting up a time. Your match will be doing the same.
6. Log on to minecraft and show up at the location specified, at the exact time specified.
Your match will be waiting there.
You will have received a passcode and a passcode return to use when ‘searching’ for your blind date.
This will make it easier to find them if there's more than one person there.
7. Role play and have fun!
8. Once your blind date is over, I ask that you fill out the questionnaire in-character.
(That means it’s your character that went on the blind date that fills it out)
It’s simply to see how your blind date went and if we could have made a better choice.
If you were unhappy with your character’s match, you have two choices:
You can have your character placed back into the system to pend for another match
OR
you can be refunded (only works for Delta/VIP Points).

How would you rate our services?: 1 to 10 again, 10 being the best
If below 10 - What should we do better for you?: Please remember that this is in-character and that, depending on those who sign up to participate in the match-making services, you might not find your perfect match but close to it. Do not base your rating on whether or not your preferences were 100% met but rather the effort that the match-making services went through to get you on that blind date.
Questions and Answers
Why are the establishments only in Nouva City?
Nouva City is the only complete city we have right now. The sooner we complete the other cities, the sooner they can be opened up as options for Blind Dates.
Once you find us our character's match, will you tell us who they are?
That is negatory (this means no). Instead I'll give you a clue to their features, in case there might be multiple people where you'll be meeting the match. This is to keep the fun of guessing.
There's a specific role player I do not want to be hooked up with. Is it possible you can avoid matching my characters with theirs?
That I can do. You'll have to put this detail, along with their username, in the 'Other' part of the form. Even though this is a fun side-project, I'm still concerned about your comfort and will do what I can to ensure it.
It says there's a tour or lessons, or something else that would require another player besides my character and their match. Are these events or will someone be joining us to host it for us?
Those specific establishments require your imagination. Setting your Blind Date up at a later day to give you time to think of how you want a series of events to go in the case of an NPC would be a good idea. Communication is key if you happen to receive one of these establishments. I, Keiran, am your go-between. If both you and your match happen to be planning at the same time, I'll share some of your plans with them and vice versa, so that neither of you will get lost in the planning.
If neither me or my character's match can think of anything for these tours or lessons, can you help out?
That's part of my job as match-maker. Just keep in mind that you have to contribute to the planning as well: I'll just be giving you options that you can do. It's up to you what to do with them and how you want to go about them.
I want a specific establishment for my character's blind date with their match. Am I allowed to pick one rather than it being at random?
That is a no. 'At random' really wasn't the best way to put it, but it is accurate when it comes to two characters liking different things. I choose the establishments based on both of your characters personalities and interests/activities.
How long does it take for you to find a match for my character?
It all depends if we have a lot of participants and if anyone has a character that matches your preferences.
Couldn't these characters just find a quadrant through naturally role playing on the server?
Yes, they can. But there are a few factors that can prevent this. One of them is compatibility. If two characters are not compatible, they're not going to click. The second is whether or not someone is bold enough to enter one of those role plays. If someone is shy around a lot of people, they're not going to be doing much role playing, are they? This could also be caused because of their character's personality as well. The last is timing. Event if there is possible compatibility and these role players are both brave enough to role play in casual or official role plays, they may never meet due to the time and day of the role play itself. This match-making service tries to take care of all three of those problems so that they can fill their quadrants and make more friends in the process.
Are any of your characters going to be participating in the match-making services?
I'm not ashamed to say yes. The majority of my characters either only have one quadrant, or none. They might find their perfect match through the match-making services and I might make a new friend as well. It's something I look forward to.
If neither me or my match like our current establishment, can you change it?
Also a yes! If neither one of you like the establishment that your blind date is going to be set up at, I can pick another one for you two. It's not that difficult of a task. But do remember: The both of you have to dislike it for me to change it. I'm not going to go through the entire list just so you can get what you wanted. That takes out the fun of using your imagination and improvising.
Is signing up for your services in-character or out-of-character?
Technically both. This thread on this website is technically out-of-character but 'Our Services' and 'Quadrant Forms' are in-character. It's simply what would be displayed on a website if your character happened to be surfing the web at the time. That being said, the Nouvan Match-Making Services can, in fact, be talked about in-character during role plays whether or not your character is on a blind date at the time.
Can we sign one character up for multiple quadrants at the same time?
Yes, you can! That actually helps give more options for other pending characters in that particular quadrant.
What if I found a quadrant for my character while they were still waiting to be filled for that quadrant through your match-making services?
If you can send me a notification to let me know that that particular quadrant has been filled, I can remove them from the system for that quadrant.
I really don’t want the Bath House as the establishment my character goes to on a blind date. Is it possible you can avoid that?
You can ask me to avoid it in the ‘Other’ portion of the Quadrant Form that you fill out. Chances are I wouldn’t have picked it for your character unless your character’s personality actually suited something so bold and even then, it has to be both your character and your character’s match to pick that one because it’s such an iffy establishment that requires bravery to role play.
