Detail
Interests and Activities: Melota when not trying to preserve wildflowers to save for a scrapbook or simply to frame, she would perform science experiments; despite her latest science experiment making her loose almost all of her limbs trying to animate something that was never alive in the first place. With the power of science, she attempts to bring things to life by simply upcycling things that have either perished or are close to death; having started with dying flowers and went from there. When none of these are available, she prides herself on investigating the paranormal; or hearing accounts of different encounters, seeing the paranormal as a key to some of the questions life rises up which the dead might be able to answer for them. Like how they exist even if the Goddess would revive most trolls without any problems, the paranormal might have had some... complications. These are different, and rise many questions; these questions the pushover brown blood strives to answer with the aid of presumed paranormal beings that dwell between the living world and the world beyond. This also drives her into the sciences, mostly suspended animation; similar to that of Dr. Stienn N. Fraank, which she tries to use as a blatant reference to base her studies and experiments on. This normally leads to a lot of "debates" with other trolls whether it is just to use other's bodies for science, since most of these experiments turn into mindless husks (shadow droppers that die within minutes of being alive.)Abilities: In fights or basic combat, she is able to take her robotic arm and turn the center into a retractable chain (which has a working radius of 3', only able to move things or people around 90lbs; anything more is a strain and could make her robotic limbs' joints either get messed up, the chain snapping or the limbs themselves pop off), her robo hand latching onto others and either throwing them around like rag dolls, or simply bringing people closer to her to protect them; but seeing her use this is extremely rare, and even then it drains her of energy similar to that of trying to lift something twice as heavy as oneself. Also, these robo-limbs rust easy; so if an opponent is in or around water, it is best suited for the opponent and will practically render Melota's retractable robo-limbs almost useless.
Personality: Miss Riolen at nature seems to be a klutz, tripping over her mechanical feet as if she had just pupated; however, this is just one of the many flaws. She is easy to "knock down a few sizes" mentally and won't put up much of a verbal fight, and also extremely forgetful. With this pseudo amnesia, she has difficulties remembering people, places, and sometimes even quadrants and major events and without any help; this normally leads to days without eating or sleeping. Her amnesia is also a result of her various experiments dealing with the dead. She also puts others first, even making decisions for herself becoming a daunting task due to over-thinking what others would want in her over what she sees in herself. With a low self-esteem, she may seem like a downer; but when it comes to looking at others she can see the best traits most of the time in what other trolls (or eau lourde) have and magnify them. And similar to her studies geared towards suspended animation (her "science"), she is driven despite the odds to overcome them to show she is actually able to do simpler things and to prove herself as not as stupid as most believe her to be. This is a valiant effort, but an effort well wasted.
