The Goddesses, Tridivir and Aelorais
Eau Lourde
Terra von Lebkuchen
The Goddesses, Tridivir and Aelorais Tridivir is the goddess of Nouva (the planet) and can teleport things and living creatures through time and space, including from alternate dimensions and timelines. She's created the city using this power by taking buildings from other planets.
The goddess seems to speak only to Vergil according to the introduction. It even says that Vergil and his lusus were the first to be chosen to live on the planet. The goddess somehow senses the different threads of fate of each individual troll and how great, negative or positive, and this affects her choice of who to teleport to Nouva. She shows no indication of being good or evil. She doesn't know which path they will walk down or what exactly is at the end of it, but whatever choice they make is up to them. She doesn't care if the trolls negatively impact her world or not. She only feels like they should be there.
Tridivir has Vergil host deadly games but those who die during the games will not remain a corpse and come back to life instead. Those who earn the most points during her games she will keep watch over. She grants a special power that allows the player to teleport themselves or someone else and create things from thin air (creative mode).
She is curled up at the top of the small mountain that contains the shrine that player first appear in and looks like a giant worm.
Fate and Regrets - The Beginning of the EndTridivir can become ill. If she is ill all the foliage on the planet will wither and eventually die. And with it, her citizens as well if she can not be saved.
Fate and Regrets - The False InterpreterThere are multiple goddess or, as they're actually called, 'celestial beings'. This particular translation confused Vergil into believing that celestial beings and goddess' are the same exact thing when in fact they aren't. Celestial beings, in Tridivir and Acionda's case, are powerful creatures birthed from star dust.
These celestial beings pick a young planet and nest on it for cultivating, preparing it for future civilians that can withstand the planet's conditions. Tridivir created Nouva for the trolls, Acionda created Cristallum for the eau lourde. Due to multiple goddess and planets, there are also multiple translators. Though one translator can not accurately translate all goddess', they can still somewhat understand goddess' other than their own.
Fate and Regrets - Fall of the GoddessAccording to Centauri Celestialtongue, a goddess can create copies of themselves. But only one and as backup if something were to happen to the original. These backups are kept within their place of power, where their citizens are first brought to on their planet. The backups start out as eggs. The eggs glow when they're about to hatch.
Fate and Regrets - Last ChanceTridivir has died but her copy hatched, revealing another giant dirt noodle, though smaller. Due to the shrine being in shambles, she doesn't have any power to grow right now and thus doesn't have any power extra aside from being able to bring in new trolls for the time being.
Fate and Regrets - The Queens VisitWith the absence of Vergil, the new goddess needed a new translator and thus chose Briana. Deeming her fit to take on the role when she stepped up to take Vergil's place to lead the trolls, even if only temporarily until they could find a way to get her moirail back.
Fate and Regrets - Aelorais' VisionThe new goddess was dubbed Aelorais. After the trolls built a new shrine for her, she began to absorb the power from it, growing bigger. As she grew she gained more powers herself- even strong enough to share a vision of the past with the Nouvans who came to see her. Being Tridivir's copy, she shared memories with the old goddess and decided those very memories could help the nouvans find Vergil. She gave them a vision, almost like a virtual world of sorts where they could see everything that was happening but couldn't do anything. According to this vision, Vergil arrived on Nouva before the goddess, where it had been polutted with toxic air, no greenary in sight. The goddess herself didn't appear until shortly after him, falling to the planet in the form of a shooting star. Midway through her desent, the shooting star broke in half- one caught by Vergil (the godess) and the other falling and landing somewhere in the distance on Nouva. The original buildings within Nouva were brought there through Tridivir's powers, back when she was large enough to use them to teleport things. The city was only created thanks to Vergil's help, who planned it out for the Goddess, as was part of his duty as her translator. Being so small, Aelorais couldn't hold the vision for long and eventually the Nouvans found themselves back in real time with an exhausted goddess.
Eau Lourde Eau Lourde (Oh-loo-or-day)
These creatures were first introduced in Fate and Regrets - The False Interpreter. They are an underwater people that originally lived on another planet, known as Wasklare, but were soon welcomed to Nouva by the Goddess and current leader.
From the knowledge gathered through the Fate and Regrets series, one can easily assume that either 1) Their space ships are equipped with a space/time/dimension device that will let them travel to other planets and times or 2) All planets populated by a goddess are in the same dimension and universe as Wasklare.
Eau lourde call their children pups. Their pups are born with fuzz and long droopy ears as they get older. They eventually lose the fuzz and grow into their ears. Pups usually stick around their parents until the come of age to finally move out and start a life of their own.
Their caste system is much different than those of the trolls and is based on wealth. Their castes don't usually mix when it comes to relationships, especially that of romance as it can often lead to disapproval of their families and the loss of wealth. Though the eau lourde are a nice people, in general, they prefer to stick with their own caste.
Empire of OldeThose who are of the most wealth live in the Empire of Olde and are ruled over by Queen Nebula and King Orion with their two sons. As fate would have it, the oldest of the twin pups became the translator for the Goddess of Cristallum and earned his last name and was henceforth called Centauri Celestialtongue. His whereabouts unknown to his family, the Queen and King of the empire sought to find peace with their loss whereas his younger brother, Quasar, became jealous for little reason other than that his brother still received more attention from their parents even while he was gone.
Strongly believing that his brother will return some day and take over the thrown, leaving him with nothing, Quasar set out to find and destroy him so that he could not return home. Upon finding out that his brother was translator for a goddess and was leader of the people of Cristallum, Quasar felt like he had little choice other than to get rid of the citizens of Cristallum, thereby leaving no one to tell the Queen and King of what he had done.
The Queen, having found what fates had befallen her beloved pups from the trolls who attempted to save their goddess via the Fate and Regrets series, sought to give Quasar one last chance, leaving him in the care of the trolls so that he may redeem himself and right all his wrongs, learning to be a better person in the process. The only eau lourde that knows of Quasar's temporary banishment, other than Queen Nebula and Prince Quasar, is King Orion himself. The people of the Empire, nor anyone of the two other origins, know where he is or what he has done. They simply know that he is not on Wasklare any longer.
Kingdom of Milieau and Tribe of ArmadusBoth the Kingdom and Tribe are ruled by Queen and King, and Chieftess, respectively.
Living as a nomadic and peaceful people, the the tribes of southern Wasklare were humble and independent. However, under the banner of one man, Rigil Kentaurus they were united. His immeasurable strength in battle physically and mentally brought an overwhelming sense of nationalism to the people, changing their name to a more united "Tribe of Armadus". Soon, Rigil was in control of an entire planets worth of Eau Lorde. After conquering the nearby planets he sent his firstborn son, Arcturus, to seige the Kingdom of Milleau and his younger, less important son, Sirius to deal with the area surrounding and including Nouva. Under this new leader the Tribe of Armadus did more than survive. In fact, it flourished.
Not much else is known of these castes as of yet other than what is provided in the guidelines.
Terra von Lebkuchen During every 12th Perigee everyone on Nouva would be teleported to the moon by the goddess. There they would find themselves in a village made entirely of gingerbread and sweets up on the snow-topped mountains. The place was void of all life, even though the Goddess told them there would be someone waiting for them there.
The Nouvans discovered marriage on this planet, where they could marry anyone from their quadrant while they were on Terra von Lebkuchen. They would go on a quest to retrieve an item, marry holding that item, and eat the item when they wanted a divorce.
Scott and The Gingerbread EaterScott was an elderly gingerbread man that the Nouvans just happened to stumble upon when rescuing one of their fellow nouvans from a kidnapping of a scary creature that had been eating away at the village. He was so old that he was already started to crumble and it took him a whole week to recuperate from his ordeal. According to him, the Gingerbread Eater is what snatched up the Nouvan that they sought to rescue. It wasn't all that bright, seeing as how it only eats gingerbread and candy, but the Nouvan had been wearing armor that was shaped like gingerbread so it had, more than likely, mistaken the Nouvan as a gingerbread man.
The Gingerbread Eater had come from the bowels of the snowy planet, consuming everything in it's wake. Many buildings within the small village of Terra von Lebkuchen had been destroyed and many of the gingerbread people eaten, including Scott's wife and child, leaving only Scott to fear for his life and the loss of his entire species.
Thanks to the Nouvans, there was still hope. Gingerbread people were created in a factory, not born. But the factory itself had been eaten by the Gingerbread Eater sometime during it's attack on the village. However, with the power of Aelorais on their side, the Nouvans were able to rebuild the factory for Scott. The elderly gingerbread man did the honor of turning on the factory and watching it go to work. The first thing he wanted to do was rebuild his precious village that he loved so dearly and so he tasked the Nouvans to do just that.
Eventually the Gingerbread Eater was taken down, leaving Scott to only worry about repopulating his village after the Nouvans left the planet.
